Default Inside Lubyanka

The situation of the changes of the coaching staff is starting to irritate me a little...too many rumors and innuendos are flying around when what the team needs is decisive action. This situation has festered around too long. After the 1997 season, Mackovic and his staff was ousted immediately. Texas shouldn't be playing around now with these decisions...make like 1997 and make the changes and go from there. This is turning into a results show of Dancing with the Stars (Mrs. PaLonghorn has to watch that) the you're safe, and you're still in jeopardy thing.

The Politburo at Bellmont has made the decisions already...and now the staff is awaiting their fates inside Lubyanka. I can see it now...

Greg Davis gets another medal and a promotion, and will be seen waving from the Kremlin walls every May Day.

Bobby Kennedy and Mike Tolleson...well, the NKVD squads have left them laying on the tiled floors of Lubyanka.

Mac McWhorter has been sentenced to 30 years hard labor...the Gulag life expectancy is four months.

Mad Dog Madden was never seen again.

Younger officers like Will Muschamp and Major Applewhite are promoted and given the powers of their predecessors...but they better not get too powerful...

So please, for the future strength and stability of the program...make the decisions now...politics, friendships, and recruits be darned. This is getting silly...and all the rumors and stories out there are showing instability within the program.

What makes you think Mack will all the sudden get decisive?
This is just what it is.
We've been told that HE alone has the say over this matter.

Mack is out of town so the wait gets longer. Hope the recruits stay firm.

If leadership and decisiveness is lacking in the head coach, how can we expect the team to improve and individual players to step up in leadership roles themselves when our top coaches have so often resembled the Keystone Cops in their misguided and faltering direction of this team this year? It's been a little like watching a Ben Hur chariot ride, but with four horses doing their own thing and not being brought into unity.
