Default Is anyone going anywhere this summer?

Kind of quiet on this board. We don't have anything big planned this year except a short 5-day trip up to the boundary water area of northern Minnesota. K and I are running a half marathon in Duluth in June and then taking a few days to drive up the Lake Superior coastline and take a look around. Supposed to be beautiful up there.

Does The Woodlands count? ;)

I'm probably signing up for the Miami 70.3 race at the end of October, beyond that I think we're saving up to try to go to Australia for a couple weeks next year(not set in stone though).

I'm going to Ohio next month for my daughter's graduation and to NOLA the second weekend in June. I think I just put myself to sleep.

So my wife is going to the Woodlands too! Is there something I need to know?

We had a colleague over from Melbourne last week, poor guy never got over jet lag, or at least while here, he was heading up to Chicago so will probably get adjusted just in time to head back. That is a looooong flight.

We'll be in LA for a couple weeks in June but for medical rather than recreational reasons. Summer will probably be mostly about recovery so unlikely there'll be a chance for anything else.

Assuming all goes well, though, fair possibility of some sorta European trip in October. Not sure yet exactly where.

Outside possibility of Brisbane next year. Hoping that pans out.

My Wife and I are celebrating our 25th this summer.

Right now we are looking at touring the NE-Vermont, New Hampshire and then go over to Canada.

Looks like BWG just got the Robert Redford role in a straight-to-internet remake of Indecent Proposal.

Here's hoping for Europe in the fall.
Seriously, keep me updated on what's going on.

The budget for the proposal is proportional to most Internet movies.

I just got back from London and Munich touring our breweries. Does that count for anything?

Sounds like a nice job to have. Which breweries?

The wife and I are taking our 5yo daughter to the beach for the first time in her life this summer. We're leaning towards Gulf Shores, not set in stone yet.

Wife and I will also take a long weekend and head somewhere just the two of us. Thinking about Chicago, but Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver are also being discussed.

Vancouver's an awesome town, for what it's worth.

Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr in Munich, and Fuller's in London.
