Default Horns Miss Cut For NCAA Tournament

Looks like the Horns will have an extra long break this summer. The National Top Eight Seeds are:

1. Florida (42-18)
2. UCLA (42-14)
3. Florida St. (43-15)
4. Baylor (44-14)
5. Oregon (42-17)
6. North Carolina (44-14)
7. LSU (43-16)
8. South Carolina (40-17)

Hopefully, the team can stay injury free next year and make a good run.

Word.

I am not surprised. We played as poorly as I have ever seen over the last month. Hopefully this team can regroup.

Amen. I think this year's team would have been a definite tourney team without the injuries to Stafford and Walla. Heck, even without those two, they're probably a tournament team if either Taylor Stell or Parker French don't get hurt and miss the final month.

Definitely....the last 2 just took the cake away after the first 2 took the icing....team wasn't the same after Stell/French injuries...in either hitting or pitching...

For some reason the team just could not keep it together after the last couple injuries. Not sure if everyone tried to do too much to try to fill the holes left or the just had a feeling the hole was too big or any number of things.

Texas played very well for the first 5 series in conference....sweep of OU and winning first 5 series...then the wheels came off and not even Augie could get them back on....there were moments (wins over aggie and Baylor), but far more disappointments (mizzou, blowout losses to aggie/Baylor) and the conference tourney losses....

There is always next year..... hook'em!
