I don't have any clue what Romney is going to do about that. After George H. W. Bush chose Dan Quayle, I think we all have to admit that anything is possible for GOP candidates. But I agree completely that Romney-Rubio makes a lot of sense, for a lot of reasons, and I hope that's his choice.

So the question is: Does Rubio have enough experience and leadership to be president if needed? He's got to be better than Biden, but so does JG.

Well, Rubio has at least as much experience as the current resident of the White House had when he took office. Rubio is easily as articulate and charismatic. And, best of all, he wasn't raised, educated and molded by Chicago thugs, racist anti-American preachers and Hawaiian/East Coast Marxists.

Romney is going to choose Pawlenty. He isn't going to choose someone with more personality.

Is it possible to choose someone with less? As much of a stiff as Pawlenty is, I think he still has more.

It's always easier to say that anyone that doesn't like Obama must be a racist. Unfortunately, it's usually not true.
Side note: I'm ready for a female president if a qualified candidate emerges.

That's funny.
One time I said that I would vote for Fred Flintstone if he ran against Obama. If he ran against the OctoMom, I believe I would just stay home and not vote. The country would be in bad shape either way.

I let it happen, hoping she'd be happy. Didn't work, and now I'm paying for it. She's a caricature of a sense of entitlement, and my kids aren't far behind. It's a long, hard battle to get out from underneath.

Don't take this the wrong way, JG, because I don't mean this as a personal affront or to pile on you in a difficult time, but how are we supposed to take your political opinions--especially those bearing on fiscal matters--seriously when you tell us personal details like this?
Romney has shown that he can run a business profitably and that he can fiscally manage an Olympic games (that was badly in the red when he took the wheel). You're telling us that you can't manage your own household despite a Top 1% annual income.
Again, I'm sorry for your predicament and hope that it works out for you personally (with regard to both your kids and your money). One word of wisdom that a wise old trial attorney told me about protracted divorce proceedings: divorce litigants end up paying their lawyers dollars to fight over dimes.

...but unfortunately was almost immediately dragged into the swamp of partisanship and corruption that dominates Washington today.
I think he was just gas on the fire.
