Answer the question Old man. You contend that the free market is all we need. You can call me a socialist all you want. But that proves you miss the point. Instead of answering the question, you start with the socialist name calling. Are you reading from the republican playbook?

More like the drunken blood tick zone, I'd say. Here's the thing that pseudo conservatives don't realize. It's the Golden Goose that has allowed you to prosper. You didn't create the goose. You inherited the goose from all the generations of Americans who came before you. If you kill the goose by sucking out blood without giving anything back, all we'll have left is a bunch of drunken blood ticks. Here's a clue. You are your brother's keeper, or like Cain, you will be your brother's killer, and the Land of Cain is not fit for human beings.

Don't start making Bible references to pseudo conservatives. They haven't read it. They just thump it.

Maybe they can understand this picture of Cain and his family fleeing from God.

They're not from the middle east. It's the arch-conservatives of the GOP.

What's wrong with an executive making more money? First, how much of that comp is equity driven? My read has been that comp has risen largely because the equity value has jumped, rather than cash comp going off the charts.

But the market has said they value the executive over the janitor. Simple as that. Do you propose some kind of wage cap?

Second, the goal of business is to make money, whether that's a pizza parlor or multi-national conglomerate. The goal of every worker (white, blue or pink collar) is to have skills of value. It's not up to an employer to keep obsolete workers.

Show me a better economic system than capitalism.

Like I said earlier, no doubt you'd be blaming Henry Ford for the demise of the buggy whip worker 100 years ago.

Sure, you're a really successful guy with an incredibly bright future who just happens to think entrepreneurs and executives are greedy and hard work doesn't mean anything anymore.

Classic. The horse is dying and the ticks are laughing.

It's much worse than that. With a $15 trillion debt load, growing trade and budget deficits, and continuing to lose jobs and entire industries to foreign competition, America is in deep trouble and at some point the whole system could implode. The only ones laughing now are the drunken blood ticks who can't see that the horse is dying.
