As we've witnessed, the very limited media outrage of this event is very telling. They don't solely care about the sanctity of journalism, free press, and safety, they only care about their own.

If this was the alt right white supremecist performing the same actions at Jim Acosta's house, the media would have gone apocalyptic. There was more press about Megyn Kelly getting pushed out of NBC than a fellow journalist's home and family being threatened.

If Tucker Carlson was in the WH briefing room badgering Obama about Benghazi debacle or the IRS witchhunt of conservative groups, not giving the microphone to the intern, and subsequently having his WH credentials revoked, would the media and defenders of the 1st amendment be in solidarity with him?

Obama tried to exclude Fox from the pool early on for no reason and the Press Corp stood up for them but it wasn’t because the reporter was an idiot, it was pure politics. This case is different.

Uh, probably not. King Obama was a one of a kind dude.
