Under Mack Brown the Texas Longhorns have been a better running team when a physical presence like Ricky Brown, Will Matthews or Ahmard Hall is leading the way as a fullback.

The Longhorns have lacked the presence of a big-time fullback since Hall’s departure after the 2005 season, but 2011 commit Joe Bergeron out of North Mesquite could go a long way to fixing an element of the Texas running game many have considered broken for the past four years.
